Rise 12 feet above Top of the Rock on a 180° rotating beam, with panoramic views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. The only open-air photo where New York City is your backdrop. Inspired by the 1932 photograph, Lunch Atop a Skyscraper, The Beam Experience brings one of New York City’s most iconic moments to life. It’s a thrilling way to connect with the history of Rockefeller Center while taking in unforgettable views from above.

Know Before You Go
Guest Guidelines
Guests must be at least 52 inches (132 cm) tall to ride alone. Those under 52 inches must be at least 42 inches (107 cm) tall and accompanied by an adult. All guests must have a ticket. Maximum weight is 300 lbs.
What to Wear
Close-toed shoes or sandals with a secure heel are required. Hats, glasses, and scarves must be securely fastened.
Weather & Operations
The Beam is an outdoor experience. In extreme weather, it may close temporarily and tickets can be rescheduled.
Photos & Personal Items
Personal devices are not permitted on The Beam. Professional photos are available for purchase, and belongings must be stored in nearby cubbies.
