30 Rockefeller Plaza stands 850 ft (260 m) tall. The 70th-floor open-air observation deck sits at 800 ft and features unobstructed 360-degree views of New York City.

Is there a time limit on the observation decks?

No. Guests may stay as long as they like during operating hours. Most visits last 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Is Top of the Rock wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock are fully accessible. If you need assistance, please speak with a member of our team on site.

Are restrooms available at Top of the Rock?

Yes. Restrooms are located on the 66th floor and are accessible by elevator from the 67th floor.

Is there a bar at Top of the Rock?

Yes. The Weather Room Café & Bar, located on the 67th floor, offers drinks and light fare alongside skyline views.

What items are prohibited at Top of the Rock?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Weapons of any kind are prohibited, including glass bottles, lighters, flammable substances, and knives of any kind, including pen knives, pocket knives, Swiss army knives, and switchblades. Tripods are also not allowed.

Is Top of the Rock available for private events?

Top of the Rock does not offer private event space. Rockefeller Center offers a range of private event venues throughout the campus.
